READINGS AND REFLECTIONS ON WORLD WAR I Sunday November 12, 2:30 p.m. Scugog Memorial Public Library 231 Water St., Port Perry Theatre 3x60 is presenting an encore performance of their tribute to the many Canadians who served in World War I. On Sunday November 12, in the Rotary Room of the Scugog Memorial Public Library, artists and guests of Theatre 3x60 will present a special afternoon of readings, songs and reflections taking place 100 years after the first soldiers went over the top in the Battle of Vimy Ridge. Performers from the April presentation will be joined by new guests, including Theatre 3x60 summer company members, as they present readings that encompass life at the front and at home, from the early days of enthu- siastic recruits to the heartbreaking aftermath of battles conducted on a scale never seen before. This special encore presentation of Vimy and the Great War takes place, one performance only, at the Scugog Memorial Public Library, 231 Water St., Port Perry on Sunday November 12, at 2:30 p.m. Doors open at 1:45 p.m. Admission is PWYC, with a suggested dona- tion of $10/person and limited reserved general seating is available in advance for $15.
