26 FOCUS - NOVEMBER 2017 On Wednesday October 18, the Rotary Club of Port Perry held their weekly meeting at Sunnybrae Golf Club and this one was like no other! Everyone benefits by the efforts of all Rotarians and those who support the annual Ribfest. Two wonderful announcements were made; the first a cheque presentation to the Auxiliary to Lakeridge Health Port Perry of $6,160 was accepted by President Diane Martin. The Rotary pre- sented Oak Ridges Hospice with a cheque in the amount of $100,000. This was the first time the Rotary has issued a cheque of that magnitude!
