The ice officially disappeared from Lake Scugog on March 16 2016 just one day shy of tying the 2012 record of March 15th. Global warming Well consider this. Since the year 2000 the ice has left Lake Scugog six times during the month of March thats six times in sixteen years. Compare this to the 84 years prior to 2000. In that time the ice only left the lake 10 times during the month of March 10 in 84 Or in other words the ice has disappeared only 16 times in March during the past 100 years. J.
