The Paul Harris Fellowship award was presented to Terry and Christine Vos at the recent Rotary Gala held on Saturday April 29. This award is one of the highest hon- ours Rotary bestows on a person or persons, exemplifying ‘service above self’ and Terry and Christine have done just that in their years here in Scugog. Terry and Christine Vos received the Paul Harris Fellowship award from Jim Brady, president of the Rotary Club of Port Perry. ‘Eighth Note Pair’ Hayden Kerry and Julia Romano, performed ‘O Canada’ and entertained throughout the evening. Rotary presents Paul Harris Fellowship Award Winners Durham Region Women’s Institute held an alumni tea on Wednesday May 10 at the Scugog Community Recreation Centre, celebrating 120 years. Not only was there tea, there was memora- bilia and sharing of memories. Paul Arculus of the Lake Scugog Historical Society presented the WI a $2,000 cheque as well.
