Having penned almost 100 books mostly on the sport of hockey, Mr. McFarlane has travelled the globe and been involved in all facets of the broadcast industry. He was also responsible for most of the mate- rial that came from the creation of Peter Puck and is a well known collector. He had one of the world's largest private collections of hockey memorabilia. He has since taken up painting and is accomplished in that as well. Brian and his wife Joan live in the Stouffville area. Mr. McFarlane will be appearing for approximately one hour before heading to Scugog Arena to attend the induction ceremony as keynote speaker. Bill Minor will have numerous hockey books by Mr. McFarlane on hand for sale and for Brian to sign.
