(main floor) SUNDAY SPEAKER SERIES Jodi Aoki Sunday February 25 at 1 p.m. Jodi Aoki is editor of Revisiting “Our Forest Home”: The Immigrant Letters of Frances Stewart (Dundurn 2011). Ms. Aoki is an archivist at Trent University in Peterborough and has a Master’s Degree in Canadian Studies and Indigenous Studies. Jodi first became interested in the Upper Canadian Irish immigrant Frances Stewart, while working with Stewart’s letters in the university archives. Jodi’s paper is about Frances Stewart and her immi- grant life in the Peterborough region. Settling initially in Cobourg in 1822, Frances and her husband Tom and their three daughters moved the following year to Douro Township, not far from the present day site of Trent University.
