The leaders are there to provide guidance and help the youth achieve their goals and facilitate their adventures. Venture Company is looking for- ward to a number of activities this year. They have several canoe trips planned, a weeklong hike and climb trip to the Adirondacks. They are also working on purchasing some snow- shoes to allow for easier camping access in the winter. Scout Troop is working on their canoe skills in preparation for sev- eral camps. We are also heading to Canadian Jamboree in Nova Scotia with 20 youth and 8 leaders for excit- ing adventures with several thousand youth across Canada. This is a huge event and we are super thrilled to be taking such a large group. Cub pack have several camps planned to help them work on their outdoors Achievement Skills. They are even looking to book an archery event followed by a family picnic. Beavers this year have already spent a night at the canoe museum and have several more activities in the works. Our entire group is looking for- ward to a weekend at Camp Samac as our year-end camp and moving up ceremony.
