Bud and his late wife Elsie had four children, three boys and a girl, and there are grown up grandchildren to round out the family. When he retired from the steel company, Bud pur- chased fifty acres in Orono and went into cash crop farming. Now he’s interested in reading the paper and keep- ing up with the news, especially from the Oshawa area, where he used to live. Future plans include taking a second annual hol- iday to a beautiful resort in Jamaica with two of his sons in February 2019. Life goes on.
