The cute little store next to Herrington’s Artifacts from Canada’s past, with an emphasis on Local antiquities, will be on display and the stories of their past will be narrated by their owners. Dan Stone and Gary Roncetti will “show and tell” a number of military items from our past. Bill Minors of Books Galore, has a number of historical literary artifacts which he will ex- plain to the audience. He will also be bringing a number of Masonic artifacts. The meeting takes place on Wednesday October 24 at the St. Johns’ Presbyterian Church on Queen Street in Port Perry, opposite Town Hall 1873. The meeting gets under- way at 7:30 p.m. The public is welcome and refreshments will be served afterwards. Historical “Show and Tell” Lake Scugog Historical Society’s popular “Show and Tell” returns to Port Perry on Wednesday October 24. Historical Society to host Dan Stone, with an extremely rare sword from Canada’s past, an 1856 weapon.
