56 FOCUS - DECEMBER 2017 Another sell out for the 6th annual Gimme Shelter Gala held on Saturday November 4 at Wooden Sticks Golf Club in Uxbridge. Thank you to the committee, volunteers, sponsors and all who attended. On this night, the brainchild be- hind the new shelter, Ginger Jackson, retired. To say it was emotional is an understatement! Ginger, on behalf of both communities and all animals, thank you and a HUGE THUMBS UP for your tireless efforts in seeing this shelter come to fruition soon. 1.
