10 FOCUS - OCTOBER 2017 Overview The Scugog Housing Advisory Committee has been busy with follow-up from the last Symposium and with the refinement of the Housing Plan that we showcased at that event. The Plan will be presented to Council shortly and we hope you will find that we have captured many of the ideas that you requested. In moving on with our Housing mandate, we are re- sponding to the requests we have had to help the com- munity understand the opportunities and issues relat- ed to having secondary suites in homes. Such as with the right opportunities, it will help young people gen- erate some income to offset a hefty mortgage or will help seniors to stay in their homes for as long as they wish.
