Lakeridge health auxiliary (port perry) will be collecting monetary donations at the entrance Hours of operation: Friday August 4th 12 noon - 11 pm Saturday August 5th 12 noon - 11 pm Sunday August 6th 12 noon - 9 pm Alcohol responsibility: The Port Perry Waterfront Ribfest is a licensed event and alcohol can be purchased during the event. Everyone is encouraged to enjoy themselves, be responsible with their alcohol consumption and don’t drink and drive! Are children welcome? Absolutely. This is a family event. The licensed area has been enlarged this year to include the east side of water street. Within the licenced area, we have carnival rides, children’s face painting, ice cream and additional vendors for family participation and enjoyment. Saturday will feature an animal petting zoo. Dogs and other pets? Only properly identified service animals are permitted. No other animals or pets will be allowed Is parking available? The Ribfest is a community event and we expect a large number of out-of- town guests. To alleviate downtown parking congestion, we encourage everyone to utilize the off site parking at the Scugog Community Centre, 1655 Reach St., Port Perry. A no-charge shuttle service is available to move patrons from the community centre to the waterfront, worry free. Limited handicap parking will be available at the foot of Mary St. Do ribbers or vendors accept credit card or debit? No. The Port Perry Waterfront Ribfest is a cash only event. ATM machines will be on site for your convenience. What other foods are available? Vendors selling ice cream, chicken, corn on the cob, french fries, bloomin’ onions and funnel cakes to name a few. Can I smoke? No, this is a non-smoking event. Is there other entertainment? Yes. Bands are scheduled for the entire weekend.
