Instead, please utilize the drop off and pick up zone and have some consideration for the people waiting for a parking spot that do not have a passenger with them. THUMBS UP - to all the Port Perry High School students for graduating and completing this stage of your life. May your future endeavours be as successful! THUMBS DOWN - to home owners on Old Simcoe Street who allow their trees, vines, tall weeds/grasses and bushes to interfere with pedestrian safety on township sidewalks. Currently people are forced in many places to walk in a single file or be made to walk on the roadway to avoid injury to their legs, eyes or faces. Old Simcoe between Victoria Street and King Street in Prince Albert is especially bad in places. THUMBS DOWN - to all the drivers who use Union Avenue as a speedway. The limit is 50! Particular thumbs down to the guy who zoomed past those residents trying to get their mail at Union and Major Street. Does an accident have to happen before you speed demons slow down? THUMBS UP to those few drivers who actually adhere to the limit on this residential street. THUMBS DOWN - to the Durham Region water tower on high school hill (Silver Street). The resident who sent this in said, ‘rust running rampant, disgusting eyesore! THUMBS DOWN - to the person/s who continue to dump their garbage in bags at the end of Mueller Lane and Chandler Road on Monday nights. The next morning it is scattered by raccoons, skunks or dogs all over the road. Please put your garbage out Tuesday morning or buy proper garbage cans with lids, or clean up the mess. THUMBS UP - to everyone involved for the beautiful gateway sign on Hwy. 7A, welcoming people to our picturesque town. um um um um Th bs h b h b h b um h b um um h b um h b h b h b h b um h b um um h b um um h b um Do you have a Thumb up or down that you would like to see published?
