20 FOCUS - MARCH 2016 THUMBS UP - to the person who put two googly eyes inside the o on the stop sign in our neighbourhood. theyve been there for a while now and every time I see them I chuckle THUMBS DOWN - to whomever is destroying our mailbox breaking branches off our trees and worst of all recently destroyed the snowman that our kids were so proud that they had made. these incidences continue to happen on Reach Rd. in Epsom. this continuous destruction of property is not only a violation of our home but is degrading to the individuals involved. whoever this is is making them look terrible think about that. you made a little girl cry are you proud THUMBS DOWN - I like the new Lcbo store. I like the staff and the product. however the store has been open for some time now and they havent done any landscaping at all. the store is planted in a wasteland out there. when the wind blows in the winter it feels heartless. With the amount of prot the LCBO is making from that store you would think they could hire a local landscaper to show they are giving back to the community to plant some trees so in 4 or 5 years it might look a little less bleak. By the way I have no nancial interest in any landscaping companies. THUMBS UP - to the canada Post worker who delivers to the boxes on Stone Sound. when delivering a package to our home she learned that my toddler and I had just walked the couple of blocks to the post boxes but turned around when we saw that she was not nished placing mail in them. Not a small feat when 9 months pregnant and days from my due date She left and went back to the boxes and personally hand delivered all of our mail to me. What a seless act THUMBS DOWN - to the individuals who destroyed a large part of the ice sculptures carved all day Saturday February 6 in Reection Park after hours of work. these sculptures were part of Feb Fest and nine businesses sponsored the sculptures for all residents to enjoy. Lack of maturity and respect for absolutely everyone THUMBS Note we are receiving Thumbs Down to local businesses for a variety of different issues. We appreciate our businesses as they not only pay taxes but support sports teams donations to charities of all kinds and we will not publish these names. If you have an issue with a business owner we urge you to speak with them directly rather than use this column. Come on everyone please just talk to one another umumumumTh bsh bh bh bumh bumumh bumh bh bh bh bumh bumumh bumumh bumcomplete auto repair 1511 Reach St. Port Perry 905-985-1999 superiortireportperrygmail.com Mon-Fri8am - 6pm Sat8am - 2pm Alignments BrAkes tune ups Oil Changes Start at 29.95 Plus tax Up to 5 litres Most vehicles Warranty Approved Tire Specials 12 Price Alignments with purchase of 4 new tires Vehicle Certifications Viktor Treiguts 905-243-4606 vtplumbing.ca viktorvtplumbing.ca Licensed and Insured by WSIB Over 15 Years Experience wishes to invite her past and future customers to join her at her new location inside Westshore Village on the 4th floor. 905-985-8660 ext. 118 Debbie Taylor Hairstylist Wednesdays and Fridays 9-5 and thursdays 12-7 or call for an earlier appointment.
