FOCUS - DECEMBER 2018 37 This is the 18th year that Dana Smith of Dana’s Goldsmithing has designed Christmas tree ornaments. The first ten were beautiful angels and the last seven years have been snowflakes. This year again will be a snowflake and the everthoughtful Dana added a stylized representation of the hospital fire last year, as she believes it is sym- bolic of the past and the future of our hospital. The year is engraved on the back so that the community can reflect on the accomplishments this year and for years to come. The ornaments sell for $25 (+ tax) and $5 from each ornament is donated to our Port Perry Hospital Foundation. To date $68,365 has been raised. They do sell out fast, so be sure to buy yours today at Dana’s Goldsmithing, 186 Queen St., Port Perry.
