It is the early 1800s with settlers from Scotland and Ireland. The Laird of the village Colin Campbell has gone missing. He was a cruel tyrant who controlled everyone in town. He had many enemies. His ghost has been seen in the village and down by the lake. His eerie bagpipe music has been heard late at night. There have been sightings of a monster in the lake just like Nessie back in Scotland. Did the monster get Colin or did someone in town do him in? All assistant detectives will meet a colourful cast of characters and have the opportunity to interview them and search for clues. Prizes, donated by local merchants, will be awarded to the detectives who catch the culprit. Tickets are $20 and must be purchased in advance. Tickets sell out every year so get yours early to avoid disappoint- ment. There is a maximum of 100 tickets sold. This event is recommended for 16+. Please bring a flashlight and wear comfortable shoes. The Museum Village is at 16210 Island Rd., Port Perry.
