20 FOCUS - AUGUST 2017 DAYS DOG These canine participants tried their best to win the Tail Wagging Contest! With eyes on the prize, 4-year-old Nate waits for the Weiner Dog Races to begin. What a beaut! 4 1/2-year-old Music is an Aussie/Doodle. Walking on hind legs takes good training, balance, coordination, and muscles. 4 1/2-year-old Hank, voted second cutest puppy, with owner Kelly Marrison. Furry friends of all shapes, sizes and breeds took part in the 15th annual Dog Days of Summer festivities held at Scugog Shores Museum on the July 15, 16 weekend. The weather was typical of the summer we have had thus far, beauti- ful on Saturday, Sunday not so much but it certainly didn’t dampen the spirits of over 1,200 people and their canine friends.
