Saturday January 28 8 p.m. Communism is a shockingly energetic trio with songs that have as much meaning as they have rock, rhythm and melody. The group’s music will make you dance, the words awaken your inner activist - songs like ‘Take Care of Each Other’, ‘Forgiveness’, ‘One of Everyone’, ‘Heart Farmer’. After 30 years of drinking straight from the well as a producer and sideman for hundreds of great artists, Don Kerr takes centre stage with Communism to beat the drum of what he has learned – that music is a gift from the sublime, offering pure glimpses of the vast beauty beyond the ordinary.
