The above sign, which is located at the corner of Queen and John St., was installed in the approximate location that a picture of the town was taken, following the great fire of 1884. The men installed two more similar plaques in Birdseye Centre near the pool, which provide a history of Birdseye Park and Scugog’s famous cartoonist, Jimmy Frise. Photo by J. Peter Hvidsten New Heritage Plaques Installed CLOSED – The Friendly Vendors Market, 155 Queen Street, Port Perry has now popped out!
