Nancys father a history buff got her interested in collecting medical antiques at a young age. She has been doing medical demonstrations since 1994 when she became a member of a historical reen- actment group. Throughout her retirement she has continued to enjoy performing her edu-entertaining shows. She delivers heartfelt verses with a stunning voice. Guelph-based musicians Wendell Ferguson and Katherine Wheatley are self- described musical best pals whose performances leave audi- ences laughing crying and applauding for more. Both Wendell Ferguson and Katherine Wheatley are skilled performers in their own right. However when the two come together on stage something very special happens. They create that magic that occurs when two musicians really connect and engage effortlessly in the entertaining banter that only good friends produce. Wendell and Wheat balance each other perfectly. While he may be the comedic force in this duo Wendell Fergusons guitar playing is serious business. He won the Canadian Country Music Associations Guitar Player of the Year six times along with three more wins for Back-up Band of the Year plus an Ontario Country Performer and Fan Association award for Career Musician. He has played and recorded with some of the biggest names in the music industry including George Fox Shania Twain The Dixie Chicks and the legendary Gordon Lightfoot. For her part Wheatley balances Wendells mean axe playing and sharp comic wit with graceful elegance and eloquent lyrics. She has been featured on CBCs Vinyl Caf TVOs Studio Two and CTVs Canada AM.
