FOCUS - JULY 2015 23 One of the most exciting and colourful events of the summer takes place later this month as the Mississaugas of Scugog Island hold their 20th annual Pow Wow. The theme this year is Honouring our Missing and Murdered Women. Everyone is invited to attend and watch the grand entry experience traditional native dances and drum groups and enjoy the native crafts and displays. If you are hungry there will be plenty of food vendors on hand Bring a lawn chair for your comfort and please remember absolutely no alcohol no drugs no dogs or any other pets allowed.
